This project will improve both quantity and quality for the domestic water supply in Caotun Town and Changhua county. reduce abstraction of ground water, slow down subsidence and improve environmental quality.

The project had been started in 2015. It is anticipated to be completed in 2024, and the total cost of the project is about 21.95 billion NT dollars.
